How to advertise your property

Introduction

Studentpad and the University of Reading offer the most cost effective and simplest method to let your property/ies quickly and easily. Instead of incurring high costs advertising your property through traditional methods and wasting time and money advertising in places where students don't look, let studentpad.co.uk facilitate the process.

Studentpad works very closely with the University of Reading and as such you need to join the University of Reading Scheme (see below for details) to be able to advertise on the web site. The University of Reading solely use the studentpad software to advertise your properties. In turn, all of the students are referred to the University of Reading website and it is therefore very successful for registered landlords.

Property management module

By registering you will also be able to utilise a number of features which will help you in your day to day tasks, free of charge. These functions include the ability to allow you to manage your maintenance works, send automatic rent reminders to students and remind yourself when gas certificates are due. New features including contract management, online fault reporting and key management will be available soon.

Photographs

Although not compulsory, photographs do make a huge difference to your advert. This is what one of our customers commented; "many people remarked on the photographs, saying how helpful it was to be able to see photos. Perhaps you could encourage landlords to enclose photos - it's certainly to their advantage"

Please Note: The University of Reading wishes to point out that it offers this service in association with the Nation-wide organisation Studentpad.co.uk, which has been in operation for over 10 years, and NOT with any local estate agent trading with a similar name

Scale of charges
The advertising period is for Eight weeks, irrelevant of when the advert is posted

PROPERTIES WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISPLAYED FOR EIGHT WEEKS UNLESS YOU STOP THEM FROM DOING SO BY UNTICKING THE "DISPLAY" BOX WHICH IS LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PROPERTY DETAILS PAGE

House/Flat for Sharers/Family - 1 - 4 Props Per Year £25.00     
House/Flat for Sharers/Family - 5 - 8 Props Per Year £20.00

Registering Your Property
There are one of two ways you can submit your information
1.   Details may be submitted over the Internet. Please forward a cheque made payable to the University of Reading and copies of your current Gas Safety Certificates directly to the University using the address below.
